Study Moderation: Present news in front of the camera or host a show
You have a special talent for show, stage representation? The specialisation program Media Acting and Moderation you learn during the last two semesters of your Bachelor’s program how to use your voice and chose your words right. After your degree, when you start your career you are going to be using your knowledge right away. Your future occupational field rages from radio presenter, host of a talk show to moderator in different areas. Your final job choice is up to you.
Content of the specialisation program Moderation (selection):
Vocal coaching: Learn the professional use of your voice and intensify your individual competences in single and group lessons of vocal coaching. Work with a microphone, recording studio and a teleprompter and write your own presentation script.
Basics of moderation: Learn the conscious use of your bodily, mimic and linguistic expressions and improve your expression in front of the camera. Use the newly learned techniques of performance and train your moderation skills.
Stage acting: Learn about the fundamental techniques for interviewing and the moderating. Talk to studio guests and learn about the implementation of TV interviewing and various styles of presentation.
Media acting: Improve your confidence in dealing with talking in front of the camera. Increase your independence and become a creative media personality, who can face the various requirements in the field of presentation and moderation. This also includes the improvement of your voice, your media presence body posture.
Presentation for TV: Together with the TV journalists you work in a team with various media. You are going to be working independently with reputable partners from practice. You develop a proper TV feature including moderation. Besides organisational issues you also learn about the conditions of editing and producing a TV feature as well as the conception of media products.
